
Denise T. Heldorfer joined the Delaware Geological Survey (DGS) as the Business Administrator in January 2018. Ms. Heldorfer has been with the University of Delaware since 2002. Before joining the DGS, she worked in the Lerner College of Business and Economics, including eight years in the Delaware Small Business Development Center. Ms. Heldorfer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University.
Ms. Heldorfer is responsible for establishing, managing, and coordinating the integrated fiscal and administrative operations of the Survey. She monitors and reconciles all accounting revenue and expenditures, as well as adminstering all DGS grant proposals. Ms. Heldorfer actively participates in strategic and operational decision-making as an integral member of the DGS management team. She manages daily administrative operations of DGS including supervision of DGS administrative staff.
