New digital water quality dataset released

DGS has released a new dataset “The Determination of Total Nutrient Loads from the Nanticoke Watershed above the USGS Nanticoke River near Bridgeville Gauging Site (01487000) from Data Provided by an Automated Nutrient Analyzer “. Included in the dataset is an MS Access database containing results of chemical and physical analyses of nearly 10,200 water samples done between October 2011 and September 2013, and metadata and data extraction queries. Also included in the dataset is the final contract report that describes the methods and findings. These data are useful for evaluating biogeochemical processes that control water quality in the Nanticoke River. The work was conducted by Dr. William Ullman of the University of Delaware School of Marine Science and Policy and A. Scott Andres of the Delaware Geological Survey.

The dataset is available at https://www.dgs.udel.edu/datasets/determination-total-nutrient-loads-na… . Additional project information can be found at https://www.dgs.udel.edu/projects/determination-total-nutrient-loads-na… .
