On Dec. 17, 2020, John Callahan, associate scientist at the Delaware Geological Survey, presented to the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) Advisory Committee on Climate Change (ACCC) on how the state of Delaware determined future sea-level rise scenarios and the appropriate perspectives to view future projections of climate change. Last spring, Callahan was selected to serve on the DRBC ACC committee. Each the 18 members of the ACCC maintains relevant climate expertise, representing various government, watershed, academic, business and water user perspectives throughout the Delaware River Basin within the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
