DGS welcomes new staff members Rachel McQuiggan and Robin Mattheus
Rachel McQuiggan (http://www.dgs.udel.edu/profile/rachel-w-mcquiggan) joined the DGS in June 2017 as a hydrogeologist. Rachel’s primary responsibilities are with the “Groundwater and Saline Water Intrusion Monitoring Network Infrastructure Improvements: Kent County, Delaware” http://www.dgs.udel.edu/projects/groundwater-and-saline-water-intrusion… and "Groundwater Monitoring Network" http://www.dgs.udel.edu/projects/delaware-groundwater-monitoring-network . Ms. McQuiggan has a bachelors degree from McGill University (Montreal, Quebec) and nearly 10 years of professional experience.
Robin Mattheus (http://www.dgs.udel.edu/profile/c-robin-mattheus) also joined the DGS in June 2017 as a geologist. Robin’s primary responsibilities are with the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and Delaware Geological Survey (DGS) Cooperative Agreement for Identifying Sand Resources for Coastal Resilience and Restoration Project. Dr. Mattheus has a Ph.D, from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and 8 years of experience.
