Delaware Geologic Research Symposium - April 14, 2015

2nd Delaware Geologic Research Symposium
Perkins Student Center, University of Delaware

9:00 am to 3:30 pm

The DGS is again hosting a research symposium with presentations on Delaware Geology. This meeting is targeting geoscience professionals as well as planners, engineers, and others that use geologic data.  Documentation for 5.0 PG credits will be available for those attending. 

Program Agenda

Presenters include both DGS staff and invited speakers on recent and ongoing research.  A complete program agenda with presentation titles and speakers is now available here (click here to download.)

Lunch is on your own. There are numerous locations for food and beverages inside the Perkins Student Center as well as on Main St, downtown Newark, located within a short 5-10 min walk. More information on parking and lunch options will be available soon.

Registration

There will be a small registration fee for the event. A full refund will be processed if cancellation received by April 6, 2015. A refund will not be available after that date. Registration will close at 2:00 PM on April 10, 2015. Registration rates are as follows:

- $25 for professionals
- Free for students (but registration is required)

DGS Open House

The DGS Open House is an opportunity to further discuss research presented at the Symposium with the DGS staff and to tour the DGS Building. The Open House will begin at the conclusion of the Symposium presentations at 3:30 pm. Light refreshments will be available. The DGS Building is located less than 5 minutes walking from the Perkins Student Center. (Click here for a map of the campus.)
