Data included in this set include an MS Access database containing results of physical and chemical water quality observations done by automated and grab sample testing of water samples collected at the Nanticoke River at Bridgeville outlet between 2011 and 2013. This set also contains a PDF copy of the contract report that contain details of the location, purpose, methods, and results of the study. The work was conducted by Dr. William Ullman of the University of Delaware School of Marine Science and Policy and A. Scott Andres of the Delaware Geological Survey.
The database is distributed in unprotected mode allowing MS Access tools to display metadata about tables, data columns and queries. The design or properties view of data tables show the definitions of each data column. The properties view of queries describe the general functions of each query.
The MS Access database tables separate data generated by the automated instrumentation (tables Sample and test_data) from instantaneous (table Q) and daily mean (table dailyQ) flow data. Multiple queries are provided to assemble instantaneous, daily, and monthly flow and chemistry data views, and to compute daily loads. The MS Access table properties view and relationship tool will display the primary and foreign keys of each table.
