Karen L. D'Amato is the Assistant to the Director at Delaware Geological Survey. Ms. D'Amato has been with the Survey since February of 2005. Prior to joining the Survey, Ms. D'Amato worked in the General Accounting department at the University of Delaware for 17 years.
Ms. D'Amato is responsible for establishing, managing, and coordinating the integrated fiscal and administrative operations of the Survey. She monitors and reconciles all accounting revenue and expenditures. Ms. D'Amato actively participates in strategic and operational decision-making as an integral member of the DGS management team. She manages daily administrative operations of DGS including supervision of DGS administrative staff.
