Jaime L. Tomlinson

EXPERTISE

Jaime L. Tomlinson joined Delaware Geological Survey in 2005 as a Research Associate.

Ms. Tomlinson's research is focused on the geology of Sussex and Kent Counties as it relates to the occurrence of ground water. She is currently updating the geological framework of the Sussex County aquifers through the interpretation of geophysical and descriptive logs. She will be involved in the drilling of several deep exploratory sites across the county to add to the existing dataset. This work will result in the generation of structural contour and isopach maps of the aquifers as well as a series of geologic cross-sections through the county. Future work includes hydrologic characterization of aquifers and ground-water use in Sussex and Kent County.

Ms. Tomlinson has significant experience in the study of bay-bottom environments of the Delaware Bay. She conducts field investigations using DGS wireline geophysical logging equipment.
